Mile Markers: Road Trip through the Bible

We may not know where this year will take us, but we know we’re on this journey together. And what better road map for our travels than the Bible? We have the opportunity this year to listen to God’s word every day, in a new way. What will we discover about ourselves and about each other as we share in this experience of getting to know and love God even more?

Pastor John Wallace

DOVER FIRST IS...

"faith and family.  I Love an atmosphere where everyon looks out and cares for one another.  All the while as they walk the Christian road and embrace their faith" -Scott

DOVER FIRST IS...

"a wonderful, loving church family.  As soon as I entered the church I felt welcomed and accepted.  Our church has an active congregation.  We have many missions that we support and serve.  We welcome you to be a part of our family." - Debbie

DOVER FIRST IS...

Dover First Moravian is a group of loving people who worship God in a traditional setting on Sundays and live their faith the rest of the week through good deeds and actions.  Youth are nurtured and cherished as the members of tomorrow, and elders are equally valued and provide support for anyone who needs it.  The wide variety of activities and groups offers "something for everyone" with a  healthy dose of fellowship, friendship and fun.  Dover First is happy to continue the Moravian Church's tradition of welcoming all who enter the doors! -Jeannie

DOVER FIRST IS...

Dover First Moravian is a welcoming place offering programs and activities for everyone from young to old.  The needs of the elderly are accommodated and the outreach to the community is inspiring.  It feels like home.  -Sue

The Moravian Church

Moravians recognize the example of Christ’s life and proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord. Living the Christian life depends not only on our own effort, but upon God our Father, who in Jesus Christ accepts us as heirs of God and strengthens and sustains us.

The Moravian Board of World Mission

The Board of World Mission serves on behalf of the Alaska, Northern, and Southern Provinces of the Moravian Church in North America and of the Unity of the Brethren in Texas.  The staff of the BWM are available to help answer your questions and help engage you, as you feel called, in support of God’s Mission in the world!

Moravian Music Foundation

Since 1956, the Moravian Music Foundation has pursued its mission effectively, efficiently, and accomplished many important tasks, including: conservation of the collections, cataloging, microfilming, and digitizing the catalog (GemeinKat Project). These projects, and other special publications and audio recordings, were made possible largely through individual designated gifts, bequests, and, to a lesser degree, from grants and Moravian Church support.
